ACROREAD RELOAD PDF
Suppose my currently open document is modified by another applications (for instance I have recompiled the LaTeX that generates the PDF), is there a w. acroread does not support it. The PDF reader Evince (Document Viewer), which is installed by default, automatically reloads if the file it is. It will automatically refresh when the pdf is updated. Adobe Reader and/or Adobe Acrobat are notorious for not supporting auto-refreshing the view of a PDF .

Oftentimes this may depend on the operating system and the filesystem you are usinga file open in Acrobat is locked and no other process can change it, so if you would try to recreate the file, it would report an error, and you would have to close the file and manually open it again.
