It is a perfect coffee table book where you could easily flip through a few pages and read cpcom on some of the good and not-so-good Capcom characters created over the past 30 years. Full of facts, statistics, and historical information, the Capcom 30th Anniversary Character Encyclopedia will offer any fan of Capcom’s illustrious library of video games insight and background for all of their favorite characters and video game series.
It’s filled with over characters and tells you their first appearance, latest appearance, and a bit of their history.

Capcom have created an incredible number of memorable video game characters over the years. The character profile is too brief with the short write-up. Featured in the book are usual cast of characters from Street FighterMegamanEcnyclopediaResident EvilDeadrisingand many more from other games I’ve not even heard of.
Capcom is one of my favorite video game developers of all time.

Official Collector’s Edition Guide. But it’s a seriously missed anniversarry. It’s a great book for any Capcom fan. The problem can best be explained like this: Mikeyvindictive rated it it was amazing Mar 05, Overall, it’s interesting to read because these characters are interesting, but you’ll be left wanting more. The fact box also just gives a handful of info like where they appear, their weapons, and personal attributes.

I just wish their was more of it, ajniversary two pages per character so we could have more illustrations or sketches.

On the whole, it’s a heartfelt, thorough tribute anmiversary one of gaming’s most prolific and influential publishers. Every guide features ccapcom content, detailed screen captures, quick-reference tips, 30ht professional strategy.
Weirdly enough, the only black man in the book is Balrog, which speaks to both Capcom’s lack of black men in their games, and the potential preferences of the book’s publisher. Well, almost the same thing here. The book was a great flip, but encycloperia I am not familiar with about 60 percent of these characters, so a lot of the entries were a bit dull to me and had little to no meaning.

If I have a choice, I prefer an expanded version, double the size and number of pages, even if it’s more expensive. The book itself visually appealing with nice illustrations and vibrant color. Dare I say, even one that you read while in the restroom when you forget to characetr your phone with you.
